The ECLECTIC TROUBADOURS - Press Page

The Eclectic Troubadours are a Brooklyn, New York based band whose music mirrors the diverse experiences of songwriter/guitarist David Phelps, bassist Jim Whitney and drummer Scott Neumann.  If one were thumbing through a cookbook looking for the recipe of this band it would read like this:

"Take one large helping of native Texas guitarist David Phelps. Spice with Blues and SouthWest grit. Liberally mix in zany guitar pyrotechnics and vocals. Add a healthy portion of New Hampshire born mountain man bassist Jim Whitney. Spread large, earthy New Grass low notes under upper layer. Throw in a large dollop of Oklahoma raised exploratory Jam drummer Scott Neumann. Simmer groove over heat. Garnish with a loving devotion of Country, Rock and World music. And, you have the wacky, fun sounds of The Eclectic Troubadours.

Do not wait to cool. Serve liberally with friends!"
