Infectious grooves, soaring melodies and inspired interplay from four critically acclaimed New York City musicians. Osage County's musical soundscape is comprised of the peerless improvisations of David Berkman (Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer and Organ) and Sam Newsome (Soprano Saxophone). With the groovy, intellectual support of Don Falzone(Fender Electric Bass) and Scott Neumann (Drums), the result is a joyous and powerful musical statement.

About the Band
     
Scott Neumann (Drums) has toured with the bands of Tony Trischka, Jazz Mandolin Project, Brother Jack McDuff, Anthony Cox, Ben Allison and Woody Herman. Scott has performed with Joshua Redman, Grady Tate, Rick Margitza and Steven Bernstein. Large ensemble credits include The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra and the Maria Schneider Orchestra. Scott has recorded with Kenny Werner, Eddie Gomez, David Liebman and Claudio Roditi.
 
 
David Berkman (Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer and Organ) has just released his fourth recording as a leader for Palmetto records. David's prior recordings have garnered high critical acclaim, placing in the Jazz Times and The NY Times Top 5 "Records of the Year" category. David's touring credits include Tom Harrell, Jane Monheit and Cecil McBee. David's performance credits include Sonny Stitt, Joe Lovano, David "Fathead" Newman and Hank Crawford.
   
 
Sam Newsome (Soprano Saxophone) has recorded over seven albums as a leader. Sam's artistry can be heard on Columbia, Sony, Palmetto, Criss Cross, SteepleChase and Satchmo labels. Sam's recordings have placed in the Top 10 of both Billboard and The NY Times "Records of the Year" category. Sam has recorded/ toured with Donald Byrd, Charlie Hunter, Terrence Blanchard, Jean Michel Pilc and Donald Brown.
   

 

 
Don Falzone (Fender Electric Bass) has toured/ performed with Tom Waits, John Zorn, Jewell, Marc Ribot, k.d. Lang, Marianne Faithful and Leni Stern. Don can be heard on motion soundtracks such as "Primary Colors" with Ry Cooder, "Fire Walk With Me" with David Lynch and "Until the End Of The World" with Julie Cruise.
