| Since 2003, Scott has composed for and leads his own band OsageCounty. The critically acclaimed band is comprised of David Berkman (keyboards), Sam Newsome (Soprano Sax) and Don Falzone (Electric Bass). OsageCountyproud to announce the release of their debut self- titled CD on Chicken Coup records in May 2006. The CD was co-produced and recorded by Tony Scherr (Bill Frisell / Sex Mob). | In 2002, Scott joined forces with guitarist/ singer-songwriter David Phelps and bassist Jim Whitney to form The Eclectic Troubadours. The band draws from a blend of Rock, Country and World music influences that allows the band to live up to its name. Phelps, Whitney and Neumann are accomplished improvisers who not only support each other as accompanists, but also stretch into fresh exploratory jams. | Over the past six years Scott continues to bring his diverse musical background into play as a member of innovative banjo master Tony Trischka's Band. This creative, no boundaries Jazz/Rock Bluegrass band continues to tour throughout the United States playing festivals and celebrated venues. | On the international front, Scott has been a member of German guitarist Michael Arlt's trio We Three since 2002. The trio completed a three week tour in the Fall of 2004 which was in conjunction with the release of their CD A New View (Bobtale). Scott also recorded the CD Live (Edition Musikat) on a 2002 tour with the trio. We Three is steeped in the classic Jazz organ trio format. | Scott has been a member of many large ensembles throughout the years. For the past seven years Scott has been the drummer in the truly original and cutting edge The NewYorkestra Big Band. The band is co-lead by the great writers Pete McGuiness and Rob Middleton. The band consists of some of New York's finest players.
